Things I am grateful for on my birthday

1. All the lovely compliments. Thank you, sweet, kind, obliging friends, for humoring my tacky, needy request.

2. The sweet birthday card and phone call from acousticshadow2. I kvelled.

3. The red velvet cake. My favorite!

4. The nice weather. I was so weary of rain and cold.

5. The resupply of my favorite Teavana tea. Thank you, Bernie, my dear.

6. The wonderful dinner at Solea. Thank you, Jared, my love.

7. The love. Always the love.

What is your favorite Teavana tea, out of curiosity? (I am partial to both their rooibos chai and their Matevana blend).

My favorite is the Samurai Chai Mate/White Ayurvedic Chai blend. They've got in to sample out in front of the stores these days, and it's rich and sweet and spicy. Rooibas chai sounds fantastic, though.
