Work and red velvet

Just got off the phone from a conference call for my internship. We're planning the next little home maintenance video we're going to make. The first one was a slideshow about inspecting your home's foundation. We put it on YouTube, if you'd care to-- though I don't blame you if you don't --you can watch my brilliant work. We'll be shooting the new one on Monday, June 2nd, so I'll have only a little time after I get out of my first day of my new job before I have to run over to the Business School. Oh, well. Shooting the last one was the most fun I've ever had at this job-- plus, as I mentioned, there's the added bonus of getting to say I've acted and modeled professionally, ;-) --so it probably won't be too much stress.

Also, finally got to try the Waldorf-Astoria's red velvet cake recipe today. It was difficult, I don't think I could have done it without my mom there to help me. Unfortunately, the batter looked a lot redder than the baked cake did, but otherwise it seems to have come out well. I haven't tried it yet as I didn't get a chance to eat dinner before work, but I gave a chunk to my brother to take to his friend's house with him. That'll keep me from eating the whole thing myself. :-) After I get some real food in me I shall sample the results of my efforts. Hope it's good, it was an awful lot of work.

With only a few more days left at home, and since I engaged the moving van I'll need, getting my things together to return to Waltham shall have to be my primary occupation. Got to figure out if there's any communal kitchen stuff I'll be able to bring along.

Cool video! I didn't know you had your internship with Anthony Scibelli.

Heehee, thanks. It's very nice of you to take the time to watch a video about foundation inspection. Fascinating topic, I know.
