Not always the enemy

breakinglight11It occurs to me that my efforts in learning to cook are good for helping me deal with my issues with food. And not only in the obvious way of being able to control what goes into what I eat so I feel better about it. Even more importantly, it reminds me that food is beautiful, instead of being the enemy.
