Oct. 5th, 2007 11:05 amI had a very nice time last night playing in "Jailbreak," the Unknown Armies one-shot that Zack ran at BSCF. His offer to run it kind of sprung out of a conversation several of us had a few weeks ago spurred by my bitching at hack-and-slash tabletop games. I'm so busy lately that I haven't really had time for much roleplaying, and what I do have access to isn't really the roleplay-heavy kind I prefer, so I was in withdrawal really bad. This was a good, interesting game that satisfied my primary two requirements-- it was roleplaying-based as opposed to completely dice-rolling, and it moved along at a good pace. Nothing is more frustrating to me than when a game stalls and stagnates because people can't seem to DO things. So this worked wonderfully for me. Thanks again, Zack, you made my night. :-) I wish people would run one-shots at BSCF more often!
