Internship interview
Feb. 13th, 2008 10:24 amToday at 3:30 I have an interview for an internship. It's a creative writing position for a home maintenance website, and our job is to make their information more interesting and fun. Yeah, not terribly glamorous, but it's a writing thing, and it's actually paid. Not much, but it's something. Better than what I was making last summer. It would be fantastic to be able to secure even a small job with writing. At the very least, it's experience to put on my resume, and maybe I'll make useful contacts somehow.
The one thing I need to know is when they would want me to work. I really, really hope it isn't immediately. I'm so busy right now, one more thing on my plate would not be welcome. I think I could swing it, but it certainly wouldn't be my first choice. There's a possibility that it's for over the summer, which would necessitate me staying in Boston rather than going home to Pennsylvania. The summer would probably be better for my schedule, so if I have a choice, I think that's what I would prefer.
