My name is LINK! I'll come to TOWN!
Oct. 31st, 2012 02:26 pmI wore my Link costume to work today in honor of Halloween. It came out pretty decent!
I'm happy with pretty much everything, except that the hat could be better and the leather color's wrong. I couldn't find brown leather boots that looked right in the thrift store, so I just wore my black leather Renaissance boots in my closet. And then I used a black belt to match.
The hat didn't come out perfectly, either. It's a little small and floppy, I wish it had more body, but I ran out of material to make it any bigger. At least it's recognizable as Link!
This costume made me dance around the house singing that stupid lyric version of the Zelda theme. "My name is LINK! I'll come to TOWN! I'll come to SAVE the princess ZELDA! Ganon's locked her away, so the children don't play, except for ME, I'll come SAVE THE DAY, HALLELUJAH!" That's all I know. It was fun.
