I was making a list of the Hold Thy Peace shows that I know have been or will be put on to get an idea of the club's history. Here is what I know:

As You Like It - Fall '03
Merchant of Venice - Spring '04
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead - Fall '04
Twelfth Night - Fall '05
Macbeth - Spring '06
The Tempest - Fall '06
Dr. Faustus - Spring '07
Hamlet - Fall '07
A Comedy of Errors - Spring '08
King Lear - Fall '08
A Midsummer Night's Dream - Spring '09
Romeo and Juliet - Fall '09
To Think of Nothing - Spring '10
Julius Caesar - Spring '10
A Winter's Tale - Fall '10

Could any Hold Thy Peacers who came before me (like [livejournal.com profile] zapf or [livejournal.com profile] flyingstalins, for example?) maybe fill me in? What came before my list, and when? How far back exactly does the club go?

I think we go back to 2001, but I can't remember where I got that from.

On a related note: SQUEEEEEEE WINTER'S TALE!

As you like it was the Fall semester of 2003 then spring was Merchant then R&G then we skipped a semester. I really should know what happened before, but I can ask Debbie (who co-founded the group). I know they did a lot of non-play stuff as well... but I'll ask. Debbie and Amy and a few others founded the group and intentionally didn't want to be part of BTC because the plays were practically a secondary thing to a lot of valentines day sonnet stuff and other events, which is exciting to see coming back because it ha died down by the time I got involved. I could also get you Debbie's contact info because she' be able to say it better (and is really super-cool)

Thank you! I appreciated the information. And sure, it would be great to talk to Debbie and hear a little bit more HTP backstory. :-)
