I came into the situation today when I had to explain to two of my coworkers/bosses that I LARPed. I was willing to do so, but I had no idea what the response would be. It turns out, one of them was already familiar with LARPing, and she helped me explain it to the other one, who is my mother's age. The other one thought it sounded like so much fun that she was asking how one gets access to LARPS and if there were LARPs that could be run at a party. The conversation ended with both of them agreeing that we should have dress-up days at work. Period clothing one day and formal clothing another, or what have you. I'm pretty excited. Point of story: maybe your coworkers are geekier/more imaginative than you think. (This probably should have been an independent entry in my own journal, but it was just do relevant that it spilled out here.)
