Got home from dinner and Prince Caspian with the family. The movie was quite good, though it diverged more from the book than the first one did. A handful of those divergences bothered me-- it's the kind of deal where I can't shake the thought that in a couple hundred years when everyone who made this movie are forgotten by their great-grandchild, people will still be reading C.S. Lewis, so why would they think they can tell his story better than him? --but by and large it was a good, fun film. I may do a more detailed review of it sometime later. For now, I think I'll reread the book and enjoy it again. I think I've read it a thousand times, but it really is timeless.

And there were, of course, talking animals. :-) Oh, how I love them so.

I'm annoyed by how much that Dairy Queen commercial makes me want a hot fudge brownie sundae thing. I don't have access to one at the moment. Stupid ice cream I shouldn't really eat anyway.
