Swimming verdict: meh

Went swimming this morning with Toby for a workout. Dave was supposed to come with us, but he didn't make it out of bed. It's just as well, I was actually kind of disappointed. The pool at Brandeis is designed for competitive swimmers, so it's awfully long, and we could only do a few laps before we were worn out. Not sure I'll want to incorporate it as part of my regular workout routine. Bernie wasn't so in to the idea anyway, and I don't want to cut him out of the group just to swim when I don't even like it that much. Thus far Bernie, Toby, and Dave have come to work out with me, and anyone else who wants to is welcome to join us.

The one upshot was I got to use my new swimsuit for the first time. It's turquoise blue with a halter top and string bikini bottom. Looks smoking on me, if I may say so myself. Will look even better once I get the ol' tummy a little more defined. I think it's on its way, I'm very pleased with my progress.

Finally got my dad to send me my flight information for when I go to visit Jared in Chicago. I still need to ask for time off for that; I'm waiting until I've been here a little longer, and I'm a bit nervous to do so. I can't wait until I see him again. Had a very sharp pang of missing him today. Thirteen days until he comes.

Hey, I might be in on that working out thing once I get a bit more settled here. I actually am with Tegan and Felicia for the summer. It was sort of planned, sort of on the fly. Short story is that I was at my cousins' looking for a place and Tegan offered when she and Felicia moved out of Elsinore. So I'm here~! I need to unpack a few things and decide on a job though. Working out or not though, I'll probably see you some time this summer~ ^_^

Awesome~ That's probably the first non-family dinner that I've been invited to so far this summer. I'm actually planning on having a "Chaz finally has a place" dinner sometime when I get settled down in the near future and you guys are invited as well. ^_^
