Little Monsters script #8 - “Tombcoming Queen”

I saw Carrie the Musical at Lesley this weekend, since a couple of my favorite students were in it. It gave me an idea for another Little Monsters skit. This one will also need a fair bit of editing, but I think the gag is a good one.

And for once, the joke ISN’T cannibalism. 😆



Episode #8 - “Tombcoming Queen”

CLAWD WOLF, a werewolf boy, late teens
CLAWDEEN WOLF, Clawd’s werewolf sister, late teens
LAGOONA BLUE, a sea monster girl, late teens
Various other ghouls and monsters in formalwear

(The Tombcoming Dance at Monster High. LAGOONA ascends the stage with an envelope and goes to the microphone.)

LAGOONA: Hello, Monster High! Hope you’re having an amazing time at Tombcoming! Now, it’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for— the announcement of our Tombcoming King and Queen…

(She opens the envelope to read.)

LAGOONA: Clawd Wolf and Draculaura!

(Everyone cheers around CLAWD and DRACULAURA where they stand in the crowd.)

DRACULAURA: Oh, my God!

CLAWD: Shall we?

(He extends his arm to her and she takes it. They go up on the podium. LAGOONA puts a crown on CLAWD’s head, while CLEO gives DRACULAURA her tiara.)

DRACULAURA: This is like a dream come true!

(Close on her while she takes a bouquet into her arms.)

CLAWD: Ready, folks? One, two, three!

(Everyone backs away from DRACULAURA. A bucket of blood dumps down on her head.)

DRACULAURA: (Gasps)

(She freezes.)

DRACULAURA: Did you all do this!?

(Beat.)

DRACULAURA: You guys are the best! I feel like a princess!

CLAWDEEN: We love you, ghoul!

(She licks her bloody hand.)

DRACULAURA: Ooh, pig’s blood, my favorite.
