Bought new shoes today. The arch support in my old pair just completely gave out, and my feet are so flat that walking around campus became quite painful by the end of the day. It's a shame, though, I really loved the style of the old pair, so much that those were the second pair of that kind that I'd had, but apparently they don't make it anymore. The ones I just bought are as similar to the old kind as I could find. Except they've got patches with zebra stripes on them. They're kind of silly, I guess, but I like them.
I'd better, because I seem to always wear the same walking shoes all the time. My stupid wussy feet don't last long in anything but comfy flat stuff. I love the way heels look, and I've got several cute pairs, but they start to hurt so fast on me that I only put up with them on special occasions, like clubbing or dressing up. It's a shame, I should try to figure out days when I won't be walking an awful lot, so I actually get some wear out of all my cute shoes that never see the world outside my closet.
