But what if I NEED a tilde?

I have recently noticed that on my keyboard, the printed symbols for the quotation marks and the "at" symbol are switched. The keys still type as normal, but the pictures are backwards. Weird. It also doesn't seem to want to allow me to use the number symbol or the tilde. It gives me \ instead of the former and | instead of the latter. Those characters have their own key in the bottom left corner, but it does the same thing as the number symbol/tilde key. Very strange, and kind of irritating.

Soon, hopefully today, I need to go in to the Computer Science Department and figure out what hours I will be working during the school year. I'm looking into a greatly reduced schedule, so I need to pick when I can make it. I don't want too many hours, I have too many classes and will have too much work for that, but it'll nice to earn a little extra money.

Wet and grumbly now...

I like barn owls. They would be the perfect subjects for woodcarving, because they always look like they're carved out of wood.

I'm wet and grumbly and not certain whether I should be offended. I took a walk down South Street to go the bank nearby on Main, and on my way back I came upon a man in his front yard hooking a sprinkler up to a garden hose. He waited till I was right in front of his yard to turn it on. I got hit point-blank by the thing and got soaked. I'm wondering if it was intentional. :-P If it was, I'm not exactly the right girl to force into a wet T-shirt.

Remember the location signs in Alice that indicated the various places in Wonderland? I gave one to Jared after the last run, and he hung it on his dorm room door.

His room, therefore, is now the Rabbit Hole. :-)
