Going home
Oct. 8th, 2008 09:08 amAfter my last two days, jam-packed with responsibilities and homework, I am hopping on a plane this afternoon to go home for the long weekend we've got for Yom Kippur. My parents haven't seen me since I came back to Waltham for the summer and they miss me, so I'm running home to hang out with them for a couple of days. I shall spend it cooking, eating, horseback riding, writing, memorizing lines, eating, chatting with Jared, and eating. Hopefully, anyway. I'm sure some dumb homework bullshit will have to get sandwiched in there. Between the cooking and the eating. I'm not the best traveler ever, so I'm not particularly looking forward to the flight, but at least it won't be long. And my parents told me not to pack anything, so I don't have to worry about schlepping crap. I'm sorry to not be able to spend the break hanging with friends, at least when they're not in services, but it'll be nice to see my parents. Have a lovely Yom Kippur, everyone, and forgive me all the transgressions I've done against you this year.
