"The Pink Scare" - another guest appearance on Roll For It! Podcast

I had the privilege last week of guest appearing on another episode of john_in_boston's Roll For It! Podcast. This episode is picking apart the notion of The Fake Geek Girl, the chick who comes to geeky events because she wants male attention and not because she's an actual fan. As someone who comes off a little more like a mainstream person than many geeks, and also as someone who's gotten the flak that comes from what people think about models, I've been on the receiving ends of those assumptions a few times in my life.
