I have two nice pieces of news regarding my ten-minute play, The Triumph of Law!

The first is that it has been accepted for performance with the Driftwood Players at their 4th Annual Festival of Shorts in Edmond, WA. It's a competitive short play festival that has a panel of judges to pick the best of the lot, plus a People's Choice award for the audience's favorite. They told me that they picked the eight plays that will be performed out of a pool of over two hundred, so I'm pretty chuffed to have gotten selected! This piece has gotten a fair bit of positive feedback, so I think it's one of my stronger ones.

Also, you may recall that a few weeks back, Triumph has a reading on a public access TV show based in Williamstown, MA. The episode, made up of the reading plus discussion of the piece and other writing-for-theater ideas afterward, is now available for viewing on the Internet. If you'd be interested in seeing it, you can go to the website here. :-)
