31 Plays in 31 Days, #30 - “Fresh Meat”
Aug. 30th, 2020 12:01 amA transitional scene from Dream Machine episode 4, occurring between Day #24 - "Typecast" and Day #23 - "Tom Vincent, Six-Four". Notable mostly because for once it’s not Leah versus everybody else for being a pain— she’s actually got a not-totally-ridiculous reason for feeling the way she does.
The new character of casting director Kristen Kramer is loosely based on Sarah Finn, the woman who fought for at the time uncertain choices like Robert Downey, Jr. and unknowns like Chris Hemsworth to play leads in the Marvel universe. She sees both positions but brings a certain experienced practicality to it, because she’s good at finding talent on a budget. She’s going to be played by the fabulous Sarah Parisi Boci, with whom I peripherally worked in PMRP. It will be my first time getting to direct her, however, so I’m excited.

If you'd like to check out the episodes of Dream Machine so far, you can find them as follows:
1.01 - "The Show Must Go Off"
1.02 - "Requiem For a Dreamer"
1.03 - "Change or Die"
( Day #30 - Fresh Meat )
