Afraid of me

breakinglight11Tonight I was told, not for the first time, that people are afraid of me. Unsure of what to make of this, I wrote in my Honesty Box on Facebook asking if anyone found this to be true. Not ten minutes later, I recieved this response:
"jesus phoebe. you're gorgeous, smart, judgmental, and don't need anything. any minute you're going to decide that i'm worthless. i'm terrified of you."
I... know even less what to think.

Date: 2009-10-30 04:57 am (UTC)Regarding the response you got, I'd say that the person is more afraid of the situation than anything and not actually you. The fear is just getting attached to you in that case.
If that person's fear is not justified, then it might be worth saying something. Knowledge of a situation can help reduce its fear of it.
