I'm kind of opposite on the food thing. I am quite resistant to spending money on food out. I have this mentality that I have food at home, so spending money on dining out seems wasteful.
I also never use credit cards. I only spend money I actually have, so sometimes it can take longer to get something, like that new phone I want to get, which will be quite useful with my new position at work.
