Your game was actually one that I know was filled by the pinch-hitter system, so that's one success. :-)
Unfortunately switching up the signups to a more Intercon style is possible, but would require a LOT of new programming for the site. Nat may do it at some point, but it would be a large time and effort investment on his part.
We would definitely welcome Western Mass people. If current attendees know how to reach them, passing on the message would be very much appreciated.
