Yesterday I saw that the official Festival of the Larps 2012 Twitter feed put out a call for game bids for [Poll #1799487]

I'm kind of sad that you won't be running Alice again, as I think it is the one LARP I might get my fiance to play in.

I don't think there are any "small and manageable" LARPs from a writing standpoint. In smaller games you need a lot more cross connections and tighter plots for characters (I mean unless you're writing a half-assed comedy game). If you're worried about being overbooked, don't succumb to thinking you can write "that easy one". ;)

FWIW, I'm not sure I'll be able to be very involved in a Festival run of Resonance, not that that should necessarily stop you. (Given the timing of Festival.)

Disclaimer: I am one of the people who voted for Paranoia and it's only because I want to help run it. That being said, I think trying to write a smaller game would be interesting and fun, and I'd love to see what you come up with. "Cross connections and tighter plots" aside, 6 characters means a whole lot less writing than 20.
