Just a word of warning about cheap makeup. Be careful with it on clearly sensitive skin. Its fine for things like liners and shadows and lip color if you are into those. For putting all over your skin, you really want something quality, ( and still do an allergy test). If you like, I can make some suggestions. Most of those tutorials are sadly targeted at selling products one way or another, and likely you dont actually need to wear all of that! Its about finding the very minimum that gives you the look you want at a social distance ( rather than close up, cuz if someone's that close to you, they probably aren't thinking about your blemishes). You'd be surprised at how little you can get away with.
