*Shudder*

Busy, busy day. My classes are done, but this evening will be packed. I had a meeting to help figure out if I should be writing a senior essay or a thesis (shudder), then later I'm off to a meeting of the King Lear production staff (I'm not actually on it, but as the treasurer of Hold Thy Peace I've got some relevant information), then to Lear callbacks, then a meeting of my internship. I am not all that into dealing with all this stuff right now, but I just need to get through it. I'd like to get to BSCF for a bit afterwards, but I don't know if I'll have the time. Too bad, it would be a good way to decompress afterward.
 
And I'm thinking I'm really going to need that decompression. It looks like I may not only have to write a senior essay, I may have to write it this semester. That TERRIFIES me. But I'm not sure what I want to do after graduation, and I want to keep my options open. One such option is grad school. And if I want the option of applying to grad school, I'm going to need a significant writing sample, and I'm going to need it before the application deadlines in November or December. But it's hard to just jump into one like that and I hadn't planned on it for this semester; I don't even have any idea what I want to write about. I've asked my advisor to meet within the next week, but my stomach hurts at the thought of that much work and pressure right now.

In the "desperate plea for a phone call" category...

...okay really, i'm not THAT desperate as i'm busy myself, but i DO miss you because i kind of lost out on having the summer to chillax a bit with you since you were gone and all...

anyway, if you need someone to bounce ideas off of for a senior essay, i'm good to do that with, because i can give semi-intelligent comments to things and i'm made of rubber (get it? cuz like, if you wanted to bounce things off of me? GET IT?? hyuck) and (at least for me) bouncing ideas off of people can be a good way to get a really heavy ball to start rolling.

Seriously, if you can get a portion of the essay written this semester, they will take that, or really anything. I didn't get in, but I don't think that it was because I couldn't give them my thesis. I am also looking into this whole bit, so if you want to schedule a time to grad school search together, just let me know (sitting in a room, looking at schools and occasionally throwing out comments is a more accurate description, but still).
