breakinglight11: (Lear and Fool)

Damn, have I been busy over the last several days. I have had someplace to be every minute of the day since I left the house until I crashed at night. Not a big fan of living that way; I need my downtime to just sit or watch TV or do nothing and stare at the wall to recharge. But this afternoon has been free. I'm making dinner for Jared tonight before rehearsal. Chicken marsala, tomato salad, and green beans and broccoli. I've been wanting to cook for him for a while now, and this is a pretty good opportunity. We'll have a nice dinner before we go to be Lear and the Fool for the evening, and it will help me chill out from the constant running I've been doing. We had out first rehearsal yesterday, and I enjoyed it and felt it went well. Perhaps this is a good sign.

I just flipped on the TV to that stupid Charmed show, and there is a very tiny ninja on the screen. Seriously, he's like six inches tall. Uh, okay.

HTP misses you. Lear could have used having you around. :-)

By the way, your profile pic-- that's such a lovely picture. Is that a painting of you? Who did it?

Ah, it's a picture that hangs in an art museum at my hometown. People have said she looks like me often enough that I kind of adopted her as my alter ego. It's "The Goose Girl" by William Bougereau.

It looks very much like you. Kind of mind-blowingly, actually. Wow. How cool!
