My mom and dad are coming up from Pennsylvania this weekend to visit. They're mostly coming for my brother's first parents' weekend at Emerson, but they're also coming to see me. My mom and I are going to be making things for Hamlet. She's an art teacher who has done a good bit of theatrical design, so I'm very glad for her help. I'm hoping Jared will be able to take a moment to say hi to her and my dad, and I'd like to introduce them to Sheena while I'm at it. Mom likes being able to put a face to the names I mention.

I am also going to Bernie's Paranoia one-shot tonight. I'm very much looking forward to it, though I had to tell my parents I had an engagement in the evening I'd have to part ways with them for. I'll see them tomorrow, though, so they'll still get to spend more time with me.

She started out as a film student, then went to a production class, realized she didn't want to be a film student, and graduated with a media studies degree.

Ooh, that sounds cool. My brother attends the acting conservatory, because his dreams are still unbroken. :-)
