Saw today that Comedy of Errors got reviewed in the arts section of the Justice—and who’s adorable, cowering, pretending-to-be-a-man visage did I see on the cover but my very own as Dromio of Ephesus, about to be whacked by Alex’s Antipholus. We got a very nice review inside, one that complimented Frances, Dave, Marissa, and me— I played my part with “finesse,” apparently. Cool, glad my knees aren’t black and blue with bruises for nothing. I am pleased and flattered that my acting has impressed. And Jared is proud of me. Yay! I’ll save the article and the picture; my mom will get a kick out of it as well.

Now, to eat a sugar plum.

Have internship-work tonight. I hate how our meetings are scheduled for an hour and then go for three or four. At least I'm getting paid for it. I prefer the independent part, where I'm doing the writing on my own time. I spent two hours and fifteen minutes this week trying to make cleaning a dishwasher sound funny. Now I'm waiting for a call from my boss. I'm hoping it won't take long; I'm uncomfortable talking on the phone to people I don't know well.

Got a paper for Chaucer due on Friday. It's really the only big bit of schoolwork I have for the moment. It's got to be about a word that isn't in use anymore, and it's got to be five or six pages. How the hell do you write six pages about a word?
