I have decided that every Friday I am going to tally up every productive thing I did in the previous seven days. Making things and accomplishing things makes me feel good about myself. And keeping track of it is good for me; it keeps me aware of what I'm doing, makes me see the things I did and didn't do, and gives me a mindfulness about my activity. I think mindfulness is the first step to improving or doing well at anything, so records can contribute a lot. I think this will encouragement to focus on doing as many good things as I can.

What will I list? Just off the top of my head... I will count things I have written, sewn, cooked. I will count things I have done to advance my career as a playwright. Books I have read, as opposed to the Internet writing that I consume constantly. Pictures I take, modeling engagements I go on. Roles I get, plays I put on. Workouts and practices that improve my body and increase my physical skills. Just to name a few. Anything I do that makes me feel like I've accomplished something artistic, intellectual, or beneficial.

For the week of 9/7 to 9/13:

Physical
- 1 ballet class
- 30 minutes of walking at 3mph
