I think I may be finished. I think I may have done it.

I think I may have a workable, fully-edited script for Hamlet.

God, that was an ordeal. But it's an important accomplish on the road of bringing this show to life. :-)

Now I gotta block the damn thing.

So as a non-theatre person I have a question, why do you need to edit scripts?

:-) 'Cause Hamlet, as is, is a four-hour show, and I don't think that would be quite fair to my audience to ask them to sit for that long.

you might enjoy, and maybe find useful, watching the first season of Slings & Arrows if you can find it. It's hilarious and worth watching even if not useful. Canadian TV comedy series about a theatre company (primarily focussed on Shakespeare, first season (only six episodes, is on Hamlet). some neat directorial stuff.
