Now that they’ve settled on an idea for the new show, the next step is to get creative control from the author of the book series they’re adapting. Unfortunately, some back problems have got Ryan not feeling his usual power player self. Meanwhile, Derek and Josie have to reunite the warring tribes of the tech crew, who are wary of bending the knee to a technical director who is such close friends with an actor.
