Okay, this is dumb, but makes me laugh. Which is probably exactly the standard for all the Little Monsters sketches I’ve written so far. Also, if I write skits for various pieces of Monster High merchandise, I won’t have to feel so ridiculous about owning it! So here is a justification for the Ghoul Mobile…

I’m not terribly familiar with the actual personalities of the Monster High characters— I tried to watch some of the cartoon, since it’s on YouTube, but it was a bit too kiddie to hold my interest. So I’m just trying to make up my own characters for them. Cleo and Toralei, for example, are the Mean Girls, and I thought since Abbey is a yeti, might be fun to make a Chill Chick.

I don’t like Mean Girls the movie that much, but the reference seemed fitting. This is mostly inspired by Andrew Prentice’s amazing vocal performance as Deuce.



Day #17 - “Get In, Loser”

CLEO DENILE, a mummy girl, late teens
TORALEI STRIPE, a werecat, late teens
ABBEY BOMINABLE, a yeti girl, late teens
DEUCE GORGON, a gorgon boy, late teens

(CLEO and TORALEI pull up in a car beside ABBEY. CLEO is in the driver’s seat and TORALEI is kneeling in the back.)

CLEO: Get in, loser. We’re going hunting.

ABBEY: I thought you were hanging with Deuce tonight.

CLEO: I did. I got what I needed, and now I’m finished with him.

(ABBEY climbs into the passenger seat.)

ABBEY: What are we hunting for? Deals? Boys? Blood?

TORALEI: Why choose?

(As they pull away, DEUCE’s decapitated head can be seen in the back seat next to TORALEI.)

DEUCE: Ch’yeah.
