Now that I have so much more free time, I am looking forward to all the new things I'll be able to do.
First, I'm trying to get into a D&D campaign. This one will be an all-cleric campaign in an original setting with an original pantheon of gods run by Jonathan Kindness. This appeals to me for several reasons; firstly, as a GM he comes very highly reccomended by his last campaign. Secondly, it's short-run, which means it'll be fun without a long committment, which I don't really want right now. And thirdly, it looks to be a good group, full of people that are fun to game with. All I have to do is brush up on the D&D rules. It's been so long since I've been in a D&D campaign that I'm way too rusty right now.
I'm also really looking forward to playing in Masks at the end of the month. My character sounds really cool, and I've been messing around with costuming ideas. Don't have much yet, but I'm working on it. I'm still a little confused about what identity we'll be going by during the game, and what role the physical face-concealing masks play. I think at BSCF this Thursday I'll ask any available GMs for clarification on that. It'll be good to be back at BSCF after being unable to attend for so long. I hope to see you all there!
Finally, every slot has filled for Alice at Intercon! We have a pleasantly unbalanced gender ratio with significantly more males than females, which suits the game's mostly-male roles. We even have somebody on the waitlist! This is very exciting. It reminds me that Jared and I have to crack down on making the edits we've planned. They're all fairly minor, as the game ran quite smoothly the first time around, but still, a handful of characters need more to them. Of course, we've got plenty of time till then.
