Busy work week

Looks like I've got a busy week ahead of me. Tuesday and Wednesday I will have my internship meeting after my regular workday, one day for the meeting and one day for the filming of the next video. This one is a Rear Window parody about tips for energy saving. I believe I'm to be playing the person in the house getting watched. Personally, I would have made myself the Grace Kelly role-- I may not be blonde, but I look a hell of a lot more like her than the other girl I'm working with. Ah, what do I expect, she wrote the script. ;-) I also have to work on writing the next newsletter for my internship, and as well as trying my hand at rewriting the instructions for a game that one of the computer scientists in the department made up. As it is, they're not very helpful or clear, and geared more toward game theorists and probability experts like himself than the average player he hopes to market it to. Hopefully I can translate a bit since I actually learned how to play in person. He asked me what I want to be paid for it, and I honestly don't know what's fair. Have to think about that.

Also, Jared and I have resolved to buckle down into larp-writing mode, and we've made some excellent progress on Men of Respect in the last couple of days. He has also finished several character sheets for his pirate larp Gentlemen of Fortune, and I'm extremely proud of how he's coming along. Today I hope to finish the character sheet on an important character in MoR, if I can manage to focus. Focus tends to be the tough part for me; when my mind goes off in a lot of different directions, I don't get much done.

I really need to finish another game, if only to have something to talk about besides Alice. :-)
